For the convenience of our candidates, AKU-EB offers Annual examinations twice a year. First examination session is held in May while the second session is offered in September.


In order to facilitate its candidates avail most university admission deadlines, effective September Examination Session 2014, AKU-EB has made one amendment into its Improvement Examination Policy. The other aspects of the Policy will remain the same.
What is new in the existing Improvement Examination Policy?

: Only Part II candidates of SSC or HSSC were allowed to sit for improvement examinations after the completion of their Part II examination of a given qualification.

: Both Part I and II candidates (regular/ private) can now re-sit the ‘Failed’ subjects as well as re-sit subjects for ‘Improvement’ of marks in the September Examination session.​

Registration Schedules and Details:

  • Registration for May exam session generally opens in October/November and runs through February (including the late fee deadlines).
  • Registration for September exam session begins right after the May examinations results are announced and runs for one month only - generally from early July through early August (including the late fee deadlines).
  • Specific dates and deadlines are posted on our website closer to the above mentioned registration season.
  • Please note that the exam registration forms are processed only during the time the resgitration is open. Please plan ahead and allow extra time to yourself in order to fulfil all requirements of the registration process in time.
  • Downloadable registration forms for both the exam sessions are available on our website. Detailed instructions on how to fill out the forms alongwith the fee structure is available on each form. If you are unable to download the form for any reason, please email us to obtain the form. Please note that emails requesting the registration forms will only be responded during the registration period while the deadline has not passed. We advise again that you start early and be mindful of the specific dates and schedules to avoid any delays or problems in your registration process.
